Christian Rech provides expertise advice, training, and technical assistance to administrations, engineering consultants, architects, and construction companies in all areas related to cement-based materials. He is also responsible for relations with public and private decision-making bodies, as well as active representation within working groups of various organizations in the Luxembourg construction sector.
Christian Rech has held several leadership positions, including President of the Luxembourg EcoInnovation Cluster from 2009 to 2013 (Luxinnovation / Ministry of the Economy and Foreign Trade) and President of the Association of Construction Materials Manufacturers a.s.b.l. / FEDIL from October 2012 onwards. He is also a member of the Research, Development, and Innovation Advisory Board of BUZZI, the parent company of DYCKERHOFF / CIMALUX, as well as a founding member and administrator of the CNCD - National Council for Sustainable Construction a.s.b.l. since June 2013.
Christian Rech is a graduate engineer in civil engineering from the Gesamthochschule - Universität Kassel in 1995. After working as a site manager at Entreprise Poeckes in Rumelange from 1995 to 2000, he became head of the Center of Excellence for Construction Consulting at the Luxembourg Cement Group from 2000 onwards.
