Thibaud Latour is the CEO of the Luxembourg Media & Digital Design Centre, a public structure with the mission to promote innovation in digital learning and to support training organisations implementing innovative interactive media in their learning programmes.

He holds a PhD in Computer Chemical Physics from the University of Namur (Belgium) before joining the Luxembourg Institute of science and Technology as Head of research Unit where he focussed on Knowledge Technologies, eAssessment and Cognitive Physical Environments for more than 20 years.

He is co-designer of the leading Open-Source Technology-Based Assessment platform TAO that serves as the core platform for several OECD’s PISA and PIAAC surveys, and is a co-founder of ‘Open Assessment Technologies SA’, one of the most successful public research spin-off in Luxembourg.
