Romain Hansen is responsible for Consumer, Commercial and Motorcycle Tire development for EMEA, as well as leading Goodyear’s Innovation Center in Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg.

Hansen began his career with Goodyear more than 30 years ago in Product Evaluation. He has since advanced through various Tire Engineering positions in OE tire development for EMEA and Latin America regions. Then he moved to the Technology department, where he led global teams responsible for developing new tire technology. He later moved to the Performance Science area and most recently held a position for Goodyear’s Beyond Tires team. Romain has also spent several years working in Goodyear’s Innovation Center in Akron, Ohio, USA.

Romain holds a mechanical engineering degree and has extensive knowledge of tire engineering, tire evaluation and tire innovation. He lives with his family in Bissen, Luxembourg.
