Remy ELS, Chief Information Officer - Foyer Group
Born in 1965 and of Luxembourg nationality, Remy Els holds a degree in Applied Computer Science from the University of Saarbrücken in Germany. He began his career in a spin-off of the same university, specialising in the multi-lingual integration of office automation and messaging suites, notably for European institutions and the banking sector.
In 2009, he joined Foyer Group to carry out various assignments in the IT Department. In 2015, Mr Els joined the Executive Committee as Chief Information Officer. The Foyer Group's IT Department is made up of around one hundred employees (backed up by external experts on a number of projects) with profiles covering traditional and emerging IT professions: developers, technicians, engineers, administrators, UX Designers, etc. This combination of expertise creates, maintains and improves nearly 500 applications for Foyer Group's employees, intermediaries and customers.
Mr Els speaks Luxembourgish, French, German and English.
