Raphaël has over 18 years of experience in the Finance, Alternative Investments, and Microfinance industries.
Prior to joining EY, Raphaël was the Head of Equity Risk Management at the European Investment Fund (EIF), a leading financial institution in the European Private Equity, Financial Guarantees, and Microfinance markets, where he played a key role in the creation and development of high-growth and innovative SMEs. He also established and managed EIF’s partnership with the United Nations, leading projects to measure sustainability in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Raphaël has extensive experience and specializes in Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Credit, Impact Investing and Sustainability.
He graduated from HEC-ULg Business School in Liège, Belgium, holds an MBA from the MIP Politecnico Milano Graduate School of Management in Italy and a Sustainability and Climate Risk Certification from the GARP. He is also a visiting professor in charge of the Entrepreneurial Finance and Consulting Project courses at the Louvain School of Management (UCL) in Belgium.
He speaks French, Italian and English and has some knowledge of Dutch.
