Computer Engineer by training and holder of an MBA from ESSEC Business School (France) and Mannheim Business School (Germany), Mr. COULIBALY began his professional career as an Engineer and Project Manager at Bull Côte d’Ivoire, Computer Technologies Côte d’Ivoire, CFAO Technologies Cameroon, and Orange Business Services (Equant) South Africa.
He was a Manager and Executive serving as Country Director at Orange Business Services (Equant), where he was the Director of Consulting and Integration Solutions for Sub-Saharan Africa, concurrently holding the role of Country Director for West and Central Africa until November 2009.
In December 2009, he took on the role of Regional Solutions Director within the CFAO Technologies group, first in Côte d’Ivoire, then as Deputy General Manager in Cameroon, and subsequently as Director of Telecom Business Development for Central Africa, Togo, and Benin based in Gabon until July 2016.
Continuing his career, Mr. COULIBALY joined Oracle as Regional Sales Manager for West & Central Africa, responsible for Orange accounts in August 2016.
As of February 2019, he settled in Senegal with GIM-UEMOA as Deputy General Manager and acted as Interim General Manager from December 1st to February 29th, 2020, before being confirmed in the position by the Board of Directors on Friday, February 28th, 2020.
Since March 2020, Minayegnan Coulibaly has been leading GIM-UEMOA. Passionate about electronic payments, he aims to promote and catalyze co-innovation among the monetary system actors in the UEMOA region through his commitment.
