Since September 2021, Anne Calteux has been the Representative of the European Commission in Luxembourg. Following her position as Head of European and International Affairs and Principal Adviser to the Minister of Health in Luxembourg, she manages political communication and strategic coordination for the European Commission in Luxembourg.

A European at heart, Ms. Calteux has held several leadership positions with a high level of responsibility, notably in the COVID-19 crisis unit at the Ministry of Health. Holding a Master’s degree in Comparative European Law (LLM) from King's College London, Ms. Calteux was a lawyer at the Luxembourg Bar from 1999 to 2003.

She represented Luxembourg in the Council of the EU in the fields of public health and social affairs between 2004 and 2013.
