Join the fast lane and the pub crawl as well!
As Nexus2050 organizers expect 5,000 attendees at the two-day international tech event, participants and partners are invited to gather in Luxembourg city center on Tuesday, June 25.
“This gathering will allow participants to meet the day before, collect their badges to gain fast access to the event, socialize, and for international attendees, discover the City of Luxembourg,” states Kamel Amroune, cofounder of Nexus2050.
Attendees, speakers, and startups will be joining from all over the world including, among many others, Abu Dhabi, Amsterdam, Austin, Barcelona, Berlin, Boston, Brussels, Casablanca, Copenhagen, Dakar, Dubai, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Kiev, London, Madrid, Makati, Milan, Munich, Paris, Phnom Penh, San Francisco, Shanghai, Seoul, Taipei, Tel Aviv, Tokyo, Warsaw, Xaysetha, Zurich, and of course, Luxembourg and the Greater Region.
To gain fast access on Wednesday morning at Luxexpo, participants are invited to collect their badges at Cercle Municipal (city center, Place d’Armes, 150m from the “Hamilius” stop on the tram line). The premises will be open from 5 to 7:30 PM. “We are proud to welcome our international visitors to one of the most iconic buildings in the city center,” explains Mike Koedinger, cofounder of Nexus2050. “We greatly appreciate that our partner, the City of Luxembourg, has made the building available.
”After collecting their badges, visitors are invited to join the Pub Crawl in the upper old town (Rue du Marché aux Herbes, Rue de la Reine, Rue de la Boucherie), where bars and pubs such as Amore, Bellamy, Go Ten, Urban, and Wellem will welcome this international crowd. “All participating bars will be marked with Nexus2050 flags,” says Kamel Amroune. “Bars will be offering finger food and participants will pay for their drinks themselves.”
“The event starts a day earlier. While participating in the pub crawl, put on your badge,” adds Mike Koedinger. “And please, speak to anyone else wearing a badge. You’ll have fun, grow your professional network, and maybe make new friends from around the world.”
