What has, so far in 2024, been the biggest surprise to you in technology?

One of the biggest surprises in technology in 2024 has been the rapid advancements and widespread adoption of generative AI across various sectors.

What do you expect will be announced in 2024, and by whom?

AI is set to play a pivotal role in the technology sector, driven by key players like NVIDIA. I expect they will soon unveil their next-generation GPUs, designed to push the boundaries of graphics performance in areas such as AI, machine learning, and gaming.

Which five companies should we watch in 2024, and why?

Of course, our company, Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital, but we are not listed. I would simply watch the companies pushing the boundaries of technology and innovation. Their developments in 2024 will likely significantly impact their respective industries and beyond. Several prominent companies are set to make exciting announcements. Apple is expected to unveil a groundbreaking mixed reality headset, possibly called Apple Reality Pro. Google continues to be at the forefront of AI and machine learning. NVIDIA remains a leader in GPU technology, which is vital for AI, machine learning, and gaming. Additionally, we anticipate updates to advanced AR glasses and VR headsets from Meta, driving the evolution of digital interaction.
