Meet Eryka Lehr, a visionary leader at the forefront of technological innovation, ethics, and strategy.  As Chief of Staff in Global Affairs at Google department, Eryka drives transformative initiatives that shape the future of AI and its impact on society. With a career spanning diverse roles and  industries, she has become a guiding force of thought leadership in the global tech landscape. 

In her current role, the Stanford GSB graduate spearheads strategic initiatives at Google, building  upon her previous roles at PwC, PayPal and financial services. Her drive to innovate responsibly is demonstrated by her instrumental role in operationalizing Google’s AI Principles. These principles prioritize societal benefit, fairness, safety, accountability, privacy, scientific rigor, and ethical development and deployment of AI.

Beyond her work at Google, Eryka serves as a Venture Partner at Kidron, a Women’s Health focused venture capital fund. The fund invests in early stage companies that focus on improving the lives of women across the spectrum of conditions and verticals (medical devices, diagnostics, services, therapeutics and digital health). Eryka is committed to driving positive change both within the tech and healthcare  industry and beyond.  

Between 2020 and 2022, Eryka served as a Technical Expert to the International Organization for  Standardization (ISO) developing the strategy for AI Standards. In this capacity, she played a pivotal  role in shaping global standards for AI, advocating for responsible practices and AI trustworthiness, and fostering collaboration among industry stakeholders. Her contributions to standardization underscore her commitment to ensuring that AI technologies are developed and deployed in a manner that prioritizes ethical  considerations and societal well-being.
