Bjorn Tremmerie is the Head of Technology Investments at the EIF, the European Investment Fund, where he has been since 2002. Specializing in European Mid-Market Funds, European VC Funds, and European Mezzanine Funds, he oversees investments in VC funds and manages a portfolio of over 250 European VC funds. Additionally, he serves on the Investment Committee of the Dutch Venture Initiative Funds-of-Funds and is a member of KfW Capital’s Advisory Board.

Before his current position, Bjorn held roles as a Senior Associate at KBC Securities, an Investment Manager at FLV Fund, and an Officer at ING Investment Banking. He holds a Master's degree in Commercial Engineering from KU Leuven and participated in the Erasmus Exchange Programme at Universität Regensburg.
